Repairs
A computer that comes in for repairs will need to be disassembled to properly test and inspect
the components to determine the failure and repair requirements. If the repair is covered under
the manufacturer’s warranty, we will complete the repair and return the unit.
If the repair is out of warranty, we will send you our findings and estimate for the repair. Once
the repair has been authorized, we will send you an invoice that can be paid online through our
QuickBooks account. The repair will be completed within (5) business days from receipt of
payment. See exceptions.
If you decline the repair, there is no charge for the inspection and estimate.
Note: Some repairs to the older models may not be possible due to parts that are
now obsolete. In some cases, there will be an upgrade option.
We cannot reassemble and return a dive computer that is not working properly. A dive computer is
considered life support. This policy reflects our burden of liability. If you have any questions
regarding this policy, please contact us.
PLEASE NOTE
If you decline the repairs and would like to have the computer returned to you, it
will be disassembled. You will be responsible for the shipping costs. We can send you an
invoice for shipping costs.
Due to the parts becoming obsolete for Predator, Petrel 1, Petrel 2, Perdix and
Perdix AI models, we cannot offer our 6-month repair warranty.
Exceptions
Delays in service may result if we are waiting for parts from the manufacturer, participating in
a trade show, special diving event, offsite training, or on vacation. You are welcome to contact
us regarding our current turnaround time.
Repair Warranty
Our repair includes a 6-month repair warranty for workmanship and parts replaced and installed,
as long as parts are still available from the manufacturer. We do not warranty consumables such
as user replaceable batteries and screen protectors. Customers must follow the manufacturer’s
guidelines. We do not warranty damages due to customer misuse or abuse.
PLEASE NOTE
Due to the lack of parts available for the Predator, Petrel 1, Petrel 2, Perdix and Perdix AI
models, we can no longer guarantee a complete 6-month repair warranty.
